About Barb Kobe Barb Kobe is a healing artist, visionary designer, teacher, mentor, and creativity coach. Since 1989, she has guided women in using personal doll making as a profound healing practice — a way to give form to what has been silenced or forgotten.
In 2004, she developed Medicine Dolls, a comprehensive healing doll curriculum, teaching through retreats and workshops. Today, her students span the globe, forming a vibrant, supportive community of women reclaiming their voices, their bodies, and their creative power.
In 2018, Barb published The Healing Doll Way, an award-winning book now in its second printing, sold internationally, celebrated for empowering women to rediscover their creative and healing wisdom. Barb holds a degree in psychology from Metropolitan State University in Minnesota and certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Sacred Storytelling, and creativity coaching. She blends psychological insight, intuitive wisdom, and decades of experience to support women — especially in midlife and beyond — as they step into new chapters of purpose, creativity, and self-trust. Her work is rooted in one simple truth: Creativity heals. And it is never too late to return to your authentic self.
